A facial is a non-invasive cosmetic skin-care treatment designed to cleanse, hydrate, and support the appearance and condition of the skin.
Treatment may include an individualized skin assessment followed by appropriate cleansing, exfoliation, hydration, moisturization, and other non-invasive skin-care techniques selected according to the client's skin characteristics, goals, and tolerance.

The treatment plan is individualized, and results vary between individuals. A facial is not intended to diagnose or treat a medical or dermatological condition. Where assessment identifies a skin concern requiring medical evaluation, treatment may be deferred and the client may be advised to seek assessment from an appropriate health-care professional.

Products and equipment are selected and used according to manufacturer instructions, applicable safety requirements, infection-prevention practices, and the practitioner's education and competence.

Clients will be informed of the nature of the treatment, expected benefits, potential skin reactions, alternatives, and appropriate aftercare before treatment.
